Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 & Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002. These regulations entitle consumers to a cooling off period unless the parties have agreed otherwise. By placing an order with AV Accessoryshop you accept that the cooling off period does not apply except under the following conditions; If the advice given to you by AV Accessoryshop was inadequate, the products did not arrive in the state sent and you did not sign for them in good condition from the carriers. We will always listen sympathetically to requests for returns, but you are specifically drawn to our Returns Policy. We are a reputable company and advertise ethically, but we reserve the right not to supply in the case of price error or if goods are not available. In those cases your credit card will be refunded promptly.
RETURNS & REFUNDS OR ITEM EXCHANGE
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item(s) to us in their original condition within 14 days of receipt. We will exchange the item(s) for a similar or equivalent product or issue a full refund on receipt, if preferred. Please note that the original carriage charge will not be refunded unless the item is faulty when tested by us.
The returned item remains your property until received and accepted by AV Accessoryshop. In your own interests we strongly advise when returning items that you send these via an insured carriage service that covers you for the full value of the returned item(s).
Items should NOT be returned without prior authorisation from us. Proper authorisation will prevent any delays in identifying or processing returned goods.
REFUNDS
Please allow 3 working days from receipt of your return for us to process & issue a refund. When the refund is issued, we will e-mail you to confirm the order value and the refund amount. E-mail will be sent to the same address as the original order confirmation. From receipt of the e-mail please allow up to 10 days for the credit to appear on your card account. The time it takes for the credit to appear is dictated by the bank or card issuer and is not within our control. Only the card used for the original purchase may be refunded. If for any reason the refund to this card is refused we will then issue a refund cheque within a further 3 working days. This will be mailed to the billing address.
EXCHANGES
Please allow 3 working days from our receipt of a returned item to process an exchange. Once an exchange is processed delivery will normally be within 4 working days.
FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEM
Should the item received not be that which was ordered or is faulty, in the first instance please advise us by e-mail at customerservice@avaccessoryshop.co.uk giving details of your order number, name & address, product details and what the problem is. Please also advise whether you would prefer a replacement or refund of the item(s). We will reply with instructions on how to proceed. Items returned without our instruction will incur delay in processing or refusal should no fault be found.
Prices
Prices shown on this web site are inclusive of VAT, do not include delivery or carriage. (Where a delivery charge applies, this will be shown in ‘the basket’ when completing checkout, before you finalise your order.

What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximize separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
