Not every screen has a component (YUV / YPbPr) input, and not every screen is compatible with high-definition (HD) component. For screens with a VGA PC input, the solution is to convert the high-definition component to a VGA type signal using the YUV HD to VGA Converter with VGA Pass-Through, thus allowing for component input yet still retaining a VGA input.Conversion is automatic, with 480p 576p 720p all catered for. 1080p is also possible with certain sources. These resolutions cover signal types supported by Nintendo Wii, Sky HD, HD-DVD players, Blu-Ray, Sony PS3, XBox 360 and Virgin Media HD.
Since the output is via a standard VGA connector, it is compatible with any display with a similar connector. This covers projectors, plasma screens, LCD TVs, and computer monitors.
