This technology converts the motion in each scene into data, then optimises the sub-field to display fast-action scenes in full-HD resolution.With VIERA CAST technology, you can enjoy online content such as videos, photos, weather and stock information through an easy-to-use Web interface that's built into the TV. No extra equipment required.
VIERA Link allows interconnected operation of various AV devices using only the VIERA remote control, by simply connecting the devices to each other by an HDMI cable. What's more, the VIERA Image Viewer provides a new photo viewing experience. Simply insert an SD Memory Card into VIERA to display photos and full-HD videos on the large screen. You can also choose from among 3 types of background music and 4 display effects.
The Z1 utilises a media box to handle all inputs and processing, with information (up to and including 1080p/24fps) wirelessly beamed to a bolt-on receiver on the chassis. Simply plug the screen into the mains and you're ready to go.
Performance, utterly stable via the wireless connection, is excellent. Blu-ray images enjoy fine motion stability, lustrously detailed black tones and nice bright whites. The Z1 upscales DVD content confidently, and the same facility with motion and with black shades is in evidence. Freesat images are bright and stable, while Freeview equally enjoyable when the quality of the broadcast allows.
